Faith Edition

A seven-chapter book written in the voice of someone who loves God and has known your soul for years. Anchored in your spiritual gifts, twenty-one questions, and the NIV Bible. Yours alone.

An open cream linen-bound journal on warm taupe linen, with dried pressed wildflowers, a brass key, and a gold tassel bookmark in soft morning light.

This is not a devotional. This is not a sermon. This is a book written about you, in the voice of someone who has been reading scripture over your life since before you knew them. The voice is intimate. The voice loves God. The voice loves you. Both things are true at once.

You will be asked twenty-one questions. The third question asks for the name for God that feels most like home. That name is used throughout the entire book. It is never substituted. The book speaks to you the way you have always spoken to Him.

Seven chapters. The Calling. The Wilderness. The Sacred Word. Love and the Body. The Holy Hand. The Threshold. The Legacy. Scripture breathes through every page as an undercurrent, never as proof text, always with a full reference. The book closes with the one sentence you write about the person God is completing in you. It is returned to you intact.

The intake

Twenty-one questions. Language is intentional.

A few of the questions you will be asked. Take your time with them. They shape everything.

  • What name for God feels most like home to you? This is how your story will speak of Him.
  • How would you describe yourself in three words? Not the words others would use. The ones that feel true when no one is watching.
  • What is one thing you survived that you rarely talk about?
  • Describe the moment your faith became truly your own. Not inherited, not performed, but real.
  • What does God feel like to you right now? Close, distant, confusing, steady, silent.
  • Write one sentence from the person God is completing in you. Not who you are trying to be. The one on the other side of all of this. Let them speak.

Chapter One

The Calling

Father, you have been calling her by a name she has only half believed. The gifts you put in her did not feel like gifts at the time. Discernment felt like being too sensitive. Mercy felt like being too soft. Encouragement felt like being too easy on people who had hurt her.

What if she has been working with the wrong dictionary.

"For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10.

The handiwork was not the version of her that performed well at twenty-two. The handiwork was the woman who, at thirty-eight, in a kitchen at three in the morning, said the truth out loud to herself and did not flinch.

Yours will share none of these words. Every opening line, every closing line, every chapter is written from scratch for the answers you give.
